I was fortunate to know Annette, Tom, Kurtis and Ryan. In 2004 Annette traveled to our home with the boys and a we loved having them here and sharing their family with us. I remember how warm it was then and swimming together in the pool.

I was finally able to meet Tom when we traveled to Indiana for the Buddy Walk in October just a few short months ago. It seemed we had always known each other. Tom was so warm and genuine. I knew God had chosen the right man to raise these two fine boys. I could not believe how much the boys had grown up since we'd last seen them.

I can not express the sorrow we feel at the loss you are now dealing with. I hope you will find comfort in the extended family that continues to pray for your comfort and healing.

I wish we could have been present to pay our respect in person but that was not to be. We sit here this evening holding each each other in prayer and in remembrance of Annette who touched many lives ours in a very personal way.

Our deepest sympathy,

The Malone Family from Massachusetts

This is my first visit to Annette's blog ... although I did see her picture and a short message about her soon to be passing on another blog. Just from reading some of her previous posts, she has inspired me to get more connected with other DS families. I have been walking the path as a mom of a special young man with DS by myself, immediate family, and the Lord ... but now fee encouraged to find other families with DS children. May the Lord Jesus comfort you and give you peace. Blessings.
