What a Day!

We are so overwhelmed and touched by the outpouring of love from so very many of you. The church was packed to the rafters today. I thought the service was so beautiful. Thank you for all of your thoughtful tokens of love and sympathy. Words cannot express all the things we felt yesterday and today.

I have many thoughts and things to share with you about the past six days. However, those will need to wait until another day.

For tonight, a sincere thank you and a wish for God's peace.

Lisa, Tom, Kurtis, Ryan and Gordon - I just want you to know that I will pray for you all in the coming days. I was so sad that I could not be there to honor Annette, but I could just not get it to work out.... Please know how much Annette meant to me and how I will forever be grateful for having had known her. She taught me so much and I will carry these gifts and try to make her proud! The way she reached out to so many even as she suffered just amazed me. Her light will continue on I know this...

May you find peace and comfort in knowing how many of us loved her and will miss her so. If there is anything I can ever do for any of you please email me @lisahuckleberry@hotmail.com - I am sending Tom my phone # as well. Hug those darling boys for Lily and me!

Love,

Lisa and Lily Huckleberry

I am praying for your family at the loss of Annette in thier lives, I did not even know her in person but I loved her. I pray for her boys whom she loved more than life itself. How is Ryan and Curtis? Please tell us how they are. Does Ryan understand it all?
I will keep ya'll in my prayers.

Lisa, the service was so beautiful. I could feel Annette's presence. I was so glad to see friends from Indiana and only wish I could have met them but didn't get a chance. All of us in the Waterloo group loved Annette very much and will do our best to carry on the initiatives she started. She will be very, very missed.

It was a beautiful service. A lovely and moving tribute to such a wonderful, kind and caring person our Annette was. Tom, Kurtis, Ryan, Lisa and Gordon, we have been so fortunate to have Annette in our lives and her spirit lives on in each of you. You will always be in my thoughts.

Lisa,
I so wish I could have been there. Shannon and Jan said it was absolutely beautiful! I have been gathering photos of when Annette was here, and when we were together at the conference and in IN both times...trying to put into words how I feel. I have not been able to sit down and do it yet. I just miss her so. I'll be praying for you, Tom and the boys.
Much love, Nicole

Lisa, the service was so moving, we were in awe that you and Tom were able to express yourselves during such a difficult time. I think that Annette would have been so proud of both of you. This may sound odd, but we all thought that it was the best funeral we had ever been to. It really reflected Annette, it was a real tribute to her life and family. Thank you for including all of us and allowing us to be a part of saying goodbye to your wonderful sister.
She will surely be missed.

Tom, Kurtis, Ryan, Uncle Gordon, and Lisa,

The service was beautiful; it is a profoundly courageous thing to name and acknowledge both the overwhelming pain and loss, and the possibility of true comfort and hope.

Each of you remain in my heart, my thoughts, my prayers.

Lynn Bf

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.

I was so thankful to be given the opportunity to represent our tri21 group with Shannon and our little tribute. I agree...it was the most beautiful funeral I have ever been to, and most befitting our friend Annette.

We will always keep you in our hearts.
