Lots of prayer requests

I have some prayer requests for my family.

1. My Mom has been struggling with her health for a few years now due to a heart attack. She's had a few more issues with her heart recently. Her doctor has put her on some medication to help but it will take about 2 weeks before it will do anything. Please pray that this medication will help her. Pray for strength and comfort and that she will continue to feel God's unfailing love.

2. Tom has sciatica and is in a lot of pain. Pray that this will resolve quickly and that Tom will be back to health soon! It's tough on the kids as now they have two parents who aren't able to fully give themselves energy wise. We took them to Italian Festival last night (a very fun tradition for us) and we had to laugh at our family as we hobbled along... I was moving slowly because of the chemo I just had, Tom was moving slowly and awkwardly because of his back and Ryan was way overtired and cranky because of the busy day he had had.

3. My blood counts were borderline for this last round of chemo on Thursday. They were too low on Wednesday but I was re-tested on Thursday and they were good enough to get the chemo that day as scheduled. Pray that my counts continue to be acceptable so that I can receive the chemotherapy as scheduled. I go back in again next Thursday so I really need the counts to be up again. I'm going to be extremely good with my diet and supplements this week in the hopes that it will help.

Annette! *hugs* I think about you every day! I will pray for you and that you can continue with the treatments. I do hope this helps this time. You are so very very brave.

Keeping your entire family in my prayers. I came across your Christmas card last week and I thought wow...such strength and beauty rolled up into one.

God bless, Kitty (Nathanael's Mom from T21 boards)

Annette....keeping you, your mom and Tom close in thoughts and prayers.

I am thinking about heading up to East Aurora, NY for ToyFest [my brother/sister-in-laws] and was wondering how far you are from Buffalo, NY? I would like to try and see if I could just run up to say hello and give you a big 'hug'.

Tara Marie,, email me and we'll arrange to get together! Buffalo is only about 1.5 hours from home so it's very do-able! - Annette

I think of you, Tom, Kurtis and Ryan often. I have also kept Aunt Winnie in my thoughts. I will send positive energy both ways.

Wonderful Annette, I think of you every day! Do your docs give you a shot to boost your white blood cells? I got something called nuelasta (spelling, may be incorrect) and it worked great. I don't know if it works with all types of chemo though, or you may be taking it already. Anyway, my 2 cents...

Can't wait to see you in atlanta!

Annette you and your family are never very far from my thoughts. I will keep you in my prayers.

If you and Tara Marie do plan to try to get together, could you let me and Christy know too? We would love to see you both again. Not sure if you still have my email so here it is just in case jenzol@msn.com. Hope to see you soon.

HI Annette, Just a quick note to let you know how MUCH we think of you and pray for you. (I'm not very good at letting people know that very-important- detail.) Susan (remember Susan? Your hiking buddy in Waterton)and I pray for you whenever we are on our walks. I'm sorry to hear Tante Winnie is not feeling so good. We will pray for her (and Uncle Gordon) as well. Good night!
