In Christ Alone

Annette chose several of her favourite songs to sing at her funeral. However, she didn't want anyone singing them "wimpy". So we did our best. I thought it was beautiful. One of them was "In Christ Alone". The words have so much meaning and hope for all of us. I have uploaded the song here for you to listen, to remember if you were able to join us at the service, to share now if you were able to join us only in thought and prayers and for all of us to enjoy and reflect.

Peace and Hope,
Lisa

Lisa,
As someone whose heart was with you but whose body couldn't make it, I thank you for giving me this powerful experience. I just sang at the top of my lungs and felt Annette and God's presence to the depths of my soul. As I sit here in tears, the joy of knowing she wasn't fearful and she is with the one who loves us best overcomes me. Thank you! Nicole

Lisa,
This is beautiful. Thank you. I too am sitting here in tears, knowing that Annette felt all the love around her.

Lisa -

Thank you for posting this! I have not had a chance to play this, but promise I will this week! I so appreciate how you are continuing Annette's blog in the face of your loss. I know that Annette would have wanted this.... Her strength shines through on your words.... My prayers are continually with you and Tom and the boys and your dad! You all remain so strong - we know Annette came from you all...

Love,

Lisa

Hi Lisa,

We sang this song in church on Sunday. I cried through the whole thing. It it funny how songs can bring out emotions that we think we have under control. My prayers are with Tom, the boys, you, Steve, your kids and your dad.

Blessings,
Michelle
