Life with Creative Kurtis

This kid continues to amaze me with his creativity. This is a "device" he made the other day. The base is a motor that spins around. This is from his K'nex sets. He then attached a K'nex straw to it. At the very end, he had wire attached to a butterfly (fake, obviously) that he found. He secured the whole thing to the ceiling with tape. Once turned on, the butterfly spun around and around. He made it especially for me.

He just melts my heart. How thoughtful and sweet of him to make that for you.

You are truly loved by both your boys. You are truly blessed. Not only are you handsome and creative Kurtis but you have a wonderful sense of humour. I so enjoy our times together on the playground.

Annette, when I get together in a group where the 'depressed and taking treatment' types outnumber the "normal" types, I foment mutiny, and say things like "OK, let's medicate THEM, they are so different from us!" K has a different perspective and a different process and a different language, and who doesn't?!?
Who doesn't?
He is out of the box, and the box is kinda like 'pregnant'. Are you, or are you not... pregant... out of the box.
The mobile is genius. Get that boy some motors!
