I've been blogging for over a year now - April 3, 2006 was my first post here. It's amazing how fast a year has gone, isn't it?
So, I'm turning the tables on this post.
For a year, you've learned about me, my battle with the beast known as cancer, my family ... our ups and our downs.
Now... What about you? I see that I have a lot of visitors coming to check in.... and I really do appreciate it. But who are you? Post (use the anonymous tool and just your first name if you want) and let me know who you are! If you don't feel comfortable posting on a public site, email me. My email address is annettel100@hotmail.com.
Some people have told me they read my blog but don't post a comment because they're afraid it won't sound very good or very nice. As someone on another blog said: "Forget nice, this is cancer." PLEASE don't worry about how it sounds - I don't care. What matters to me is the strength I gain from your comments. You really have no idea how much it means to me to receive communication in any form: a phone call, a card, a meal, a snack, A POST ON MY BLOG! I can't beat this cancer alone - I need strength from others.

Happy anniversary Annette!!
I was sorry to hear the lack of progress the chemo has made. But no growth is also good, right? Hang in there -- you have a lot of people pulling for you.

Happy Bloggiversary!
Blog readers are like prayers ... there are a lot more out there than you'll ever know about. And, you should know that you're getting a lot of both.
Cheers,
Gary.

Thank you all for responding!
Christina, I'm going to spend some time on your blog and get to know you! My husband's family is from Austria too - it's an absolutely beautiful country!!
Hello Annette,
I have been reading forever and am guilty of not commenting. I think I did way back when a few times.
I do come by to visit and to see how you are doing. I pray for you, as a matter of fact I have several people whom I pray for that has cancer.
I will do better about commenting because I really do understand cancer more than most. I spent two solid years with my best friend through her severe battle with cancer. I know how to pray and what to pray so I will continue to be in prayer for you through your journey.
Blessings to you and your sweet family.
Oh I am late in wishing you a happy bloggerversary! I think of you all the time and just love you and yours. Always sending you positive cancer kicking vibes.

Happy Blogging Anniversary Annette! You know me - it's Lisa - crazy old mom to Lily!!!! I am attempting to blog on Lily's website which was created right before her heart surgery and has so much updating to do! I am thinking about scrapping the website - as I am web design clueless! And then going to a regular blog! But, for now you can catch us at www.lilymarlene.net
We are always thinking of you and praying for you! I am so happy to hear you are finally getting some help! And also angry and frustrated along with you that you have had to wait so long to even know you could have this! I will never understand why the people who are really going through so much and trying to take care of it all on their own seem to get no help! It frustrates me to no end!
Big hugs to you! And give all those boys hugs and kisses from me and Lily!
Love,
Lisa
